Still wetting the bed at 26? For Lea, this is everyday life. She lives with bladder weakness – but her biggest challenge is the shame…

Lea repeatedly wets her bed at night, has to change her bedding, and constantly plans her life around the needs of her bladder. She has struggled with bedwetting since childhood – no one could really help her. Instead, she was bullied because of her illness, withdrew from others, and at 13 even had to go to a psychiatric clinic.

Only at 18, after many doctor visits, did Lea finally receive the correct diagnosis: an overactive overflow bladder – meaning she can’t properly empty her bladder. Today, she manages her condition better, but some limitations remain.

Incontinence still shapes her daily life as a single mother with several jobs – from an emergency cup in the car to pelvic floor exercises. When it comes to relationships, dating, and intimacy, the illness remains a topic…
