Cross-attacks between Iran and Israel continue for the sixth consecutive day. Ayatollah Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, warned through his X account that 'the war has begun and they will show no mercy.'

In recent hours, Israeli defenses have intercepted about ten missiles and several drones coming from Iranian territory. So far, no new casualties have been reported. Meanwhile, Iran has registered hundreds of victims since the conflict began less than a week ago.

Now, all eyes are on the United States and its next moves. After a call between Trump and Netanyahu, Washington seems to have abandoned the diplomatic route and now aligns with Tel Aviv regarding the nuclear threat posed by Iran. However, the U.S. intelligence director stated the opposite in March, just three months ago.

Iran has two uranium enrichment facilities. One of them, the Natanz plant, has been hit by Israeli bombings.

However, the Fordow plant is much harder to destroy. It is located 80 meters underground, and only the U.S. possesses a bunker-buster bomb powerful enough to destroy it. Yet, its use would imply the entry of the United States into the conflict.
