In the video 'WE TESTED 10 UNUSUAL THERAPIES!', Matthieu and his sidekick embark on the adventure of trying out 10 surprising therapies to find solutions to everyday stress. Among the different experiences offered, ranging from tree hugging to cow cuddling, monkey transformations to rebirths, the two friends will rate their mood before and after each session.
But the little twist in the story is that two of the therapies tested are actually fake, a revelation that will be unveiled at the end of the video. So, they have to determine which therapies are effective, and perhaps the one that gives them the most well-being will turn out to be one of the fake therapies.
The first therapy they try is 'destruction therapy', where the idea is to release stress by destructing objects in a controlled manner. Although the idea may seem radical, the participants enthusiastically engage in this destruction session. Armed with all the necessary equipment, they begin to destroy objects, letting out their pent-up aggression. Even though some mishaps occur during the session, the experience ends in a peaceful and emotionally liberating atmosphere.
The second therapy tested is 'silvotherapy', a practice aimed at reconnecting with nature to soothe the mind and regain inner harmony. Through relaxation and meditation exercises in nature, the participants are guided by a caring therapist. The session unfolds in a calm and rejuvenating atmosphere, where the participants are encouraged to connect with the natural elements and collect symbolic objects.
Between object destruction and communion with nature, Matthieu and his friend seem to have found moments of relief and relaxation. Whether breaking bottles or picking up twigs, they experienced unique and sometimes surprising forms of therapy that may have helped alleviate their tensions and stress.
In the end, this video reminds us that there are a multitude of ways to manage stress and find well-being, whether through traditional methods or more unusual practices. The key is to find what works for oneself and to give oneself moments to recharge and realign, even if it sometimes involves breaking bottles or hugging trees
