In this 320th episode of the “Building a LEGO City” series, the builder focuses entirely on constructing a hydroelectric power plant that will symbolize the future energy supply of his growing city. He starts by briefly explaining why such an infrastructure project is not only an exciting MOC but also thematically fits the areas already in place—harbor, industrial zone, and rail network. He then shows the planned location at the edge of the riverbed and outlines the visual functions the building must convey: dam, turbine house, control center, and a realistic water flow.

Next, he presents the individual construction phases. First, the dam is built from grey slope elements, plates, and masonry bricks, reinforced in several layers to create a varied structure. Simultaneously, the creator constructs the lower riverbed using trans-blue tiles and clear panels so the later water effect looks lively. Particular attention is paid to the turbine intakes; here he combines round bricks, grille elements, and dark-grey modified bricks to convincingly replicate the technology.

Once the base is finished, the turbine house follows. It rises in a mix of light- and dark-grey bricks and receives large window fronts so the interior can be easily viewed later. Inside, he installs two detailed turbine modules made of Technic gears, flexible hoses, and small blades, all backlit with light bricks. A control console with computer screens and levers completes the scene, while minifigures in safety vests add extra authenticity.

Then comes the design of the waterfall. The YouTuber first lays down a layer of trans-clear 1×2 plates, partially covers them with trans-light-blue tiles, and adds irregularly placed 1×1 round plates to simulate splashing water. For the foam at the base he uses white cheese slopes and round tiles. Along the way he shares tips on how to achieve organic-looking water structures using plate offsets and smaller wedge plates without relying on specialized parts.

Finally, he modularly integrates the power plant into the existing layout: the river course connects to pre-built bank segments, the access road is extended with road plates, and a small service crane is installed to allow theoretical maintenance on the turbines. He shows several camera sweeps through the city so viewers can see how well the new structure fits into the overall scene. He ends by asking the community to leave suggestions for further ecological projects—such as a solar park or wind turbines—in the comments, and teases the next episode, in which the lighting of the entire river section will be optimized
