He starts by unrolling too much paper, then realizes he has cut an excessively large strip. Rather than starting over, he tries to “fix” the situation by frantically folding the excess. With each misaligned fold, he punctuates his actions with exaggerated facial expressions or a short sarcastic comment, true to his persona. His attempts to align the edges result in layers of tape applied haphazardly, giving the package an increasingly chaotic look.
