Fatal accident causes traffic gridlock on Entebbe road

The traffic police and Special Forces Command officers have spent several hours towing an overturned concrete mixing truck that ended up on top of a salon car at Nkumba on the Kampala-Entebbe Highway. Initial reports indicate that one person in the Mitsubishi car has died, and their body is still trapped inside the vehicle. Traffic on the Entebbe road near Nkumba has been heavily congested, and drivers are advised to reduce their speed as the road surface has become slippery from spilled fuel and car oils, making braking more difficult.
