Warner Bros. Pictures presents a groundbreaking film from M. Night Shayamalan—“Trap”—featuring performances by emerging music talent Saleka Shyamalan.

Follow a father and teenage daughter as they attend a pop concert, only to discover they are entwined in a dark and sinister unfolding.

Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, “Trap” features Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills, and Allison Pill. The film is produced by Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock, and M. Night Shyamalan, with executive producer Steven Schneider.

Cinematography by Sayombhu Mukdeeprom (“Call Me by Your Name”), production design by Debbie de Villa (“The Hating Game”), editing by Noëmi Preiswerk, and music by Herdĭs Stefănsdŏttir (“Knock at the Cabin”). Music supervision by Susan Jacobs (“Old”), costume design by Caroline Duncan (“Old”), and casting by Douglas Aibel (“Asteroid City”).

“Trap”, an M. Night Shyamalan film, presented by Warner Bros. Pictures and Blinding Edge Pictures, is set to be released in theaters nationwide on August 9, 2024, and internationally starting on August 1, 2024
