A Minecraft Movie, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black, directed by Jared Hess, is the first live-action adaptation for the big screen of Minecraft, the best-selling video game of all time.

The film also stars Emma Myers ('Wandinha'), Danielle Brooks ('The Color Purple'), Oscar-nominated, Sebastian Eugene Hansen ('Just Mercy', miniseries 'Lisey's Story'), and Jennifer Coolidge (series 'White Lotus').

Welcome to the world of Minecraft, where creativity not only helps you have fun as a builder, but is also essential for your survival! Four misfits - Garrett “The Garbage Man” Garrison (Momoa), Henry (Hansen), Natalie (Emma Myers), and Dawn (Danielle Brooks) - entangled in their everyday problems, suddenly find themselves transported, through a mysterious portal, to Overworld: a bizarre cubic wonderland ruled by imagination. To get back home, they must master this world (and protect it from evil creatures like Piglins and Zombies) while embarking on a magical quest with an unpredictable experienced builder, Steve (Black). Together on this adventure, the five will be challenged to dare and reconnect with their unique qualities that make each of them extraordinarily creative... the same skills they need to thrive in the real world.
