Hank Thompson (played by Austin Butler) was a former high school baseball star who can no longer play. Despite this setback, everything else in his life seems fine. He has a great girlfriend (Zoë Kravitz), works at a New York bar, and his favorite baseball team is on an unexpected winning streak towards the championship.

However, when his punk-rock neighbor Russ (played by Matt Smith) asks him to look after his cat for a few days, Hank unexpectedly finds himself caught up in a dangerous situation involving menacing gangsters. They all seem to have a vendetta against him, but Hank has no idea why. As he tries to outsmart them and survive, Hank must rely on all his wits to stay alive long enough to uncover the truth.

Caught Stealing is directed by Academy Award® nominee Darren Aronofsky, with a screenplay by Charlie Huston based on his own book of the same name. The film features an ensemble cast including Austin Butler, Regina King, Zoë Kravitz, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D'Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Benito A Martínez Ocasio, and Carol Kane.
